The lyric opera house in Baltimore is one of the best opera houses found in the State. It is located in midtown Baltimore 10 minutes away from the inner harbor and two blocks from the Penn station. Many exciting performances have happened here since 1983 when it was opened. The hall has a large seating capacity that has been renovated over the years to make sure it is comfortable. Several events take place here and you can get tickets to enjoy various performances of your choice.

The Lyric has plenty of space that is available for rent. These can be used for different occasions such as receptions, parties, performances and conferences. Rental space in the opera house includes an auditorium that holds 2,564 seats, the grand tier lobby, the lower level lobby, rehearsal hall and the Decker board room.

Other than concerts and performances, the theatre has also hosted board meetings, wedding receptions and numerous parties. To be on the safe side you should book the place you want to use early enough to avoid disappointments. Holds are usually placed for identified events as long as there is no lease agreement in place.

The hold confirmation should be emailed or faxed, 45 days before the date you will hold your event. Customers are normally served on a first come first pay basis to discourage discrimination. Deposit is placed 2 days before the event. The lyric does not have a policy that protects similar act bookings within a given time frame like gospel rock etc.
