Where is Meyerhoff Symphony Hall? The music venue is located at 1212 Cathedral Street in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. It is right in the hub of Baltimore's Cultural District surrounded by the Lyric Theater, the University of Baltimore and many renowned restaurants. How to get to Meyerhoff Symphony Hall? Located in downtown Baltimore, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is easy to reach either by public transportation or self driving. Light Rail, Metro, bus and MARC Train (weekday service only) can all take you to Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. If by bus, routes 3&11 will get you there.
By Light Rail, you can get off at the Cultural Center stop. The hall is directly in front of you. Light Rail hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 11:00 pm; Saturday 7:00 am to 11:00 pm; and Sunday and Holidays 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
By Metro, you can get off at the State Center stop. Then walk east on Preston Street to Howard Street, and make a left turn on Howard. Turn right on Dolphin heading east, you will see the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Metro hours are 5:00 am to midnight from Monday to Friday. On Saturday, Sunday and holidays, it's from 6:00 am to midnight.
By MARC Train, you can get off at the Baltimore Penn station which is just walking distances from Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. After getting out of the train, head to Charles Street and walk south. Then make a right onto Preston Street. Walk along Preston Street and you will see Meyerhoff Symphony Hall soon.

If you prefer a self-driving tour, the following routes might be of some help:
From Downtown Baltimore
- Drive along Charles Street north until past the Washington Monument.
- Take Preston Street which is 6 blocks after the Washington Monument. Go 2 blocks to Cathedral Street. Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is right at the corner of Cathedral and Preston.
From North I-83
- Take I-83 South to Exit 6.
- Go straight through the lights onto Mt. Royal Avenue.
- Between the 3rd and 4th light of the Mt. Royal Avenue, there is a fork. Bear right at the fork and you will arrive at Cathedral Street. Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is right at the corner of Cathedral and Preston.
From North I-95:
- Take I-95 south to I-395 Downtown Baltimore.
- Then follow Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North.
- Head north along MLK until you reach the intersection of MLK and Howard Street. Then take Chase Street/I-83. Meyerhoff Symphony Hall will appear after passing 3 lights.
From South I-95
- Take I-95 north to I-395 Downtown Baltimore.
