
Exploring East Baltimore - The Source Region of the Black Baltimore Community
Baltimore is considered one of the nicest places to travel to for a tour. It has quite a lot of attractions in and around that can keep the tourist busy for at least a week. The Eastern Baltimore is quite distinctly visible when you travel around the city. The eastern side is the source region for the Black Baltimore community. The northern region is quite heavily populated residential area. Bordered by the Sinclair lane, Pulaski highway and Erdman Avenue, this is quite a spot for the Morgan State University, which is famous worldwide.
The eastern part is mostly having the African American communities. But when you see the south eastern side of the city you can see whole variety of ethnicity. There are Polish Americans, Puerto Ricans and people of Italian origin. This region has a mix of industries and residences. Most of the people in these regions are working class people. There is tremendous growth potential in the East Baltimore region and it is showing quite a good growth in the past few years. Keeping up with the pace, many industries have also been established.
Travelling through the East Baltimore can be a really nice experience and a different once altogether. There are many things that you can see and understand about the African American population, which is completely different from the other part of the city. Patterson Park and highland park are some of the places that you can visit to have an interesting time roaming around the area that is predominantly filled with the African Americans.
