In order to get yourself enrolled in their education programs, you must fill up the application form and submit it well within the deadline. Applications can be obtained in November and the short listed students will get to know their names by March in the next year. Students featuring in the waiting list will be notified of their admission after the vacant seats have been filled up by short listed candidates. If you miss the deadline of submission of the application form, you may be denied admission by the college authorities.
Candidates are short listed according to their composite scores. The cut out composite score for Baltimore City College is 610 with an average of 80*2 in English, Mathematics and General Studies and a percentile of 65 in Terra Nova Mathematics and Terra Nova Reading. If you are an 8th grade candidate, then you have to attend the open house. For other grades, you must be a former student of BCPSS Middle School.
Students who have not been a part of the Baltimore City School and students who have been studying in private schools must apply separately and take an admission test by contacting the Office of Student Placement. If you wish to get transferred to this college from any other school under BCPSS, you should show the acceptance letter and fill up the Maryland State Transfer Form. Bring the form and required documents from the previous school to the registrar of Baltimore City College.
